Art and culture are an integral thread in the fabric of Australian society. Recent federal decisions do not support this idea. Despite that, our artists continue to produce high quality artworks that provide a vehicle for expression, inspiration and communication; provide economic and enterprise opportunities, and become an archive for our society’s collective memory.
Selected from previous exhibitions, these artworks speak of country, culture and connection and showcase the importance, depth and diversity of Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists from across the Top End, the APY Lands, Central and Western Desert regions.
Participating artists and art centres include Bryan Bulley, Iltja Ntjarra / Many Hands Art Centre, Kaltjiti Arts, Katie Saunders, Linda Joy, Maningrida Arts & Culture, Papunya Tula Artists, Thom Buchanan, Tjarlirli Arts, Tjungu Palya, Warakurna Artists and Warmun Art Centre.
